CH1, SC into next 3 st’s, Spike ST into space between petals of row 3, SC into next 7 st’s, Spike ST into space between 2 DC’s of Row 2, SC into next 7 st’s, Spike ST into space between petals of Row 3, repeat ** tive more, SC into next 7 st’s, Spike ST into space between 2x DC’s of Row 2, Sc into last 3 st’s. Join with SLST at top of CH3.
In this way you can use the flower without the square in its contour, below we will continue to make the contour, completing the square:
Row 6 (Start Border)
Join new colour with SLST in any LONG Spike ST of previous Row. CH1, SC into next 4 st’s, HDC into next st, DC into next st, skip 1st, 2x TR into same st (corner made) , skip 1 st, DC into next st, HDC into next st, SC into next 9 st’s, repeat ** three more times, ending last repeat with SC into last 4 st’s ONLY. Join with SLST into CH1.
Row 7
